2. Overview

CrewCue is an app for managing live and film productions, including team coordination. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account Data

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address – for authentication and account-related communication
• Name – to display within your team
• Profile picture (optional) – to personalize your profile

3.2 Usage Data

We do not collect any analytics or tracking data. No third-party analytics services are used.

3.3 Location Data

CrewCue does not access your personal location. Weather information is retrieved using the venue's geographic coordinates (production location) only, never your device location.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data on the following legal grounds (Art. 6 GDPR):

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Processing your account data is necessary to provide you with the app's services.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Sending push notifications to update Live Activities serves the purpose of real-time coordination during productions.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Supabase (Database & Authentication)

We use Supabase as our backend for authentication and data storage. Our Supabase instance is hosted in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Your data does not leave the European Union.

5.2 Apple Push Notification Service (APNs)

We use Apple's push notification service to update Live Activities in real time. A device-specific push token is transmitted to Apple. Apple processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

5.3 Apple WeatherKit

We use Apple WeatherKit to display weather information for events. Only the geographic coordinates of the event venue are transmitted — never your personal location.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes. Data is only shared with the services listed in Section 5, to the extent necessary for operating the app.

7. Data Retention

Your data is stored for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, all personal data will be removed within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Access (Art. 15 GDPR) – find out what data we store about you
• Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) – correct inaccurate data
• Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) – delete your data (also available directly in the app)
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Objection (Art. 21 GDPR)

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the app.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority depends on your place of residence or the data controller's registered office.

10. Children

CrewCue is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without parental consent. If we become aware that data has been collected from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. The date of the most recent update can be found at the top of this document.
